Hours and Admission The gardens and grounds are open free of charge year round during daylight hours. The greenhouses are open free of charge from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday except in January when the greenhouses are closed on Saturdays.
Accessibility The formal gardens are accessible by barrier-free entrance on the west side. The greenhouse is entered through the door facing the gardens. Pathways in the formal gardens are grass or crushed stone. Nature trails are chipped bark or gravel.
Directions
Reynolda Gardens is located off Reynolda Road, adjacent to the Reynolda campus of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. By car from I-40 Business take Silas Creek Parkway North for approximately four miles. Bear right at the Wake Forest University exit. At Reynolda Road, turn right at the stoplight, then left at the first stoplight, entering Reynolda Village at By Way Street. Begin your visit at the greenhouse.

Restrictions and Policies Restrictions mandated by the Deed of Gift ensure the continuing beauty and tranquility of the gardens, woodlands, and open area. Policies apply to weddings and commercial photography.
Area Attractions and Services
- The Garden Boutique, located in the greenhouse, is operated by the Garden Club Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. Profits benefit Reynolda Gardens and community projects. 336.722.5640.
- Reynolda Village is now home to shops, offices, and restaurants. Phone: 336.758.5584.
- Reynolda House, Museum of American Art, the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Reynolds, is open to the public, and tours are available. Phone: 336.725.5325.
- Wake Forest University is a private institution committed to the ideals of a liberal arts education. Phone: 336.758.5255.
Reservations for Group Visits Reservations for groups must be made through the education office, telephone 336.758.3485. All reservations for school groups are made in early August for the following school year. Call the education office for the date and time to call for reservations. See also: Educational Programs
Other groups, including those requesting non-school guided tours for children, guided tours for adults, and self-guided tours of eight or more adults, may reserve time for visits as Gardens schedule allows. Charges vary by program.
